Cork Aid to Sri Lanka’s Nino Doll Project was launched on the 8th November 2005. The Project aimed to generate ‘Passports to Education’ scholarships for Sri Lankan children living in Tsunami affected areas through the sale of Sri Lankan produced ‘Nino Dolls’, while also generating local employment in Sri Lanka. In total the Project raised €200,000. Cork Aid would like to extend a huge Thank You to all who contributed.
